Creating a brand that feels like the community behind it

The Starting Point

OnePeopleTO was already building something meaningful. We wanted their online presence to feel like it.

Through events, memberships, retreats and partnerships, OnePeopleTO had created a space for BIPOC entrepreneurs, practitioners and changemakers to connect, learn and grow together.

But their digital presence wasn’t quite capturing the depth of that community.

The brand needed more warmth. More personality. More of the people and purpose behind the work.

So we set out to create a visual identity and content strategy that could grow with the community while staying true to what made OnePeopleTO special.

What We Did

We started with the brand, then built a content system around the people and ideas at its heart.

We led a full brand refresh, introducing a grounded, earthy colour palette and typography that felt warm, thoughtful and rooted rather than corporate.

From there, we rebuilt the social presence with a visual system designed to bring consistency to everything OnePeopleTO was doing, from retreats and panel discussions to memberships, community spotlights and educational content.

But consistency didn’t mean making everything look the same.

We made room for real people, real stories and the culture of the community to come through. Every piece of content had a purpose, whether that meant introducing a practitioner, filling a retreat, welcoming new members or sharing ideas around collective wealth and community-centred business growth.

The goal was simple: make the brand feel as human as the community behind it.

The Difference

OnePeopleTO’s online presence now feels like a true extension of the community they’ve built.

The refreshed brand gave them a recognizable visual identity that could hold everything from intimate community conversations to larger partnerships and paid retreats.

And the content started reaching beyond the people who already knew them.

Today, OnePeopleTO’s Instagram generates 17,000+ monthly views, helping the organization connect with new entrepreneurs and practitioners while continuing to nurture the community already there.

More than a visual refresh, the work gave OnePeopleTO a stronger way to show the world what they’re building.

A brand that feels grounded, recognizable and, most importantly, true to its people.
